This session examines strong anticipation: behavior produced through real-time coupling rather than an internal predictive model. Using the example of a fielder tracking a fly ball, participants ask whether apparent pattern ingression can be understood through organism–environment dynamics, and how that proposal bears on dualism, mathematics, and neural structure.
