#neuroscience Twitter: need examples in nervous systems of a bowtie architecture – in signaling pathways (e.g., calcium signaling) where a ton of inputs go into a fairly small central core and then a ton of outputs fan out. Are there any neural structures that work like that?

non-neural examples: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25798588 ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16916470 ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19142232 Anything like that, structurally, in biological nervous systems? Maybe even a good diagram of sensory nerves in the body -> brain -> efferent innervation in that same scheme?

Why doesn’t Midjourney do specific “individuals” well for me? I see folks making images of anime characters & I assume it gets them right? I try prompts like Elmer Fudd or “smurf” & real historical figures (of whom there are many photos on internet) & they look generic and wrong.
